Present and exposure

You can visit the reconstructed Barbora Ironworks, including the internal permanent exhibitions, on a guided or unguided tour - see opening hours and admission fees.

The first permanent indoor exhibition concerns the historical significance of metallurgy and charcoal kilns, focusing on the history and method of processing local iron ore at the Barbora smelter.

The second permanent exhibition is dedicated to the prominent Jinec native Josef Slavík - a brilliant violinist and composer who, at a young age, received recognition from, for example, Franz Schubert or Niccolò Paganini himself.

Třetí expozice je věnována Národnímu geoparku Barrandien a přibližuje návštěvníkům historický vývoj naší planety. V rámci této expozice si návštěvníci mohou zapůjčit geologická kladívka a v našem „suťovišti“ si najít svého trilobita.

The fourth exhibition is dedicated to the nature of the Jinec region and the entire Brdy region, the importance of preserving European-significant natural sites, the mission of the Brdy Protected Landscape Area, and the protection of animal species and biotopes.

The last exhibition introduces visitors to the military and the activities of the army in the Brdy Mountains since its beginning.

You can visit the monument during opening hours, which you can find here. here..
